The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team

THE WAY TO DEVELOP A HIGH PERFORMING TEAM

Teamwork is one of the most underdeveloped strategic advantages today.  To help tap into your competitive advantage, The Five Behaviors has a simple goal: to facilitate a learning experience that helps professionals and their organisations discover what it takes to build a truly cohesive and effective team.

Based on Patrick Lencioni’s bestselling book The Five Dysfunctions of a Team, and developed by Wiley, the program identifies and addresses the five biggest challenges faced by teams in organisations; an absence of trust, not engaging in productive conflict, a lack of commitment, not being held accountable and not achieving collective results. 

By identifying and addressing these destructive behaviours, this program works to develop teams into the most productive and cohesive versions of themselves.

PROGRAM INCLUSIONS 

Every program is customised to your specific needs so please call one of our team for an initial consultation, however, standard inclusions are as follows:

  • Individually tailored profile for each participant
  • Personalised 20-minute phone call with each participant before the program begins
  • 2-day off-site program
  • Analysis of current strengths and weaknesses within the team, as determined by the team itself
  • The program scores the team’s results against norms from 5,000 researched teams for the Five Behaviors, highlighting focus areas and giving them a score from high to low
  • Setting team goals and action plans for development to be continued post-session
  • Comparison reports between team members to improve one-on-one relationships within the group
  • Unlimited free progress reports that directly compare the development stages of the team

CUSTOMISATION

Every team is different and works well in some areas and not so well in others. With this program, participants will learn how, as a team, they score on the key components of the model: trust, conflict, commitment, accountability, and results.  Where the team is functioning well the session can be shortened to allow more time to work in the areas that do not score as well.  At the end of each session, the team will come away with clear development strategies and focus points to continue working on internally.
